A fiery red dish made with Kashmiri and Guntur chillies! Our Mangalorean Ghee Roast goes well with just about anything - vegetables, chicken, prawns or fish. It’s a crowd pleaser and a dinnertime favourite in any household across the country. The generous dash of Ghee gives the dish a delicious buttery taste to balance the spiciness from the chilies. We even soak the red chillies overnight before we cook it to ensure we get the most authentic flavour, colour, and spice level. The result is magical! Don’t believe us? Ingredients:
Garlic, Tamarind, Whole Kashmiri Chillies, Whole Guntur Chillies, Ghee, Salt, Whole Black Pepper, Fenugreek Seeds, Yellow Mustard Seeds, Asafoetida
Quantity: 1 x 140 g
Cooking Instructions:
Step 1: Wash and clean 500g of any vegetable, paneer, chicken, prawns, or fish and mix with ½ cup curd, fresh juice from lemon, ½ tsp turmeric and ½ tsp salt.
Step 2: Heat your pan, add 2-3 tbsp of Ghee. Add your protein from Step 1 and cook for 5-8 minutes on medium flame.
Step 3: Empty out contents of the Tasty Tales Ghee Roast pack into the same pan and mix well. Cook for 10-15 minutes on medium flame without the lid until you see Ghee appearing on the sides of the pan and it is fully cooked. Garnish with another 1-2 tbsp of Ghee.
